Sony Ericsson today announced the MD300, a state-of-the-art business tool that allows busy professionals to quickly and easily connect their PCs or laptops to the internet whenever and wherever they need.
Trials of super-fast mobile broadband on track for success
The LTE/SAE (Long Term Evolution/System Architecture Evolution) Trial Initiative (LSTI) launched in May this year has reported the successful delivery of the first in a series of test results aimed at proving the potential and benefits of LTE. LTE is being standardized by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) as a next generation mobile broadband technology.
Alcatel-Lucent and Vodafone Portugal demonstrate live broadcast Mobile TV based on DVB-SH for the first time in Portugal
This live broadcast Mobile TV demonstration, based on the DVB-SH standard, uses the S-Band frequency spectrum (2.17 –2.20 GHz). This spectrum is available throughout Europe and can be used for the EU-wide delivery of mobile satellite services, in particular Mobile TV.

Ericsson and Elisa switch on world's first commercial WCDMA/HSPA service in 900MHz band
Ericsson and Finnish operator Elisa today activated the operator's WCDMA/HSPA network addition in the 900MHz frequency band. The new part of the network is seamlessly integrated in Elisa's existing WCDMA/HSPA network in the 2.1GHz band.
