3G technology further improves i-mode in terms of even greater speeds, increased capacity for data transfer and longer duration videos, improved quality and upgraded graphics. Through i-mode over 3G the Flash environment is renewed while Java applications are upgraded offering even more capabilities as for instance for weather forecasts, stock & shares news as well as maps with impressive graphics (2) that COSMOTE will be initially offering. The above characteristics constitute only a fraction of the benefits provided by the new generation services that literally launch the pioneering i-menu into the future.

COSMOTE upon launch is offering the following 3G i-mode services:

Mobile Music
Through a large music list of the best Greek and international songs and in cooperation with the largest record companies (3), COSMOTE customers can select entire songs (4), download them onto their handsets and replay them. i-mode's 3G premiere is marked by yet another music exclusivity as COSMOTE has secured tracks and the Real Tones of renowned Greek singer's, Anna Vissi, successful new CD single.
