- Professionals will be able to access their company's communication systems from a PC, PDA or a mobile telephone whilst in Spain or abroad

- Total connectivity solutions will be offered for the first time in Spain combining fixed and mobile networks with UMTS and GPRS technologies

Telecommunications operators Vodafone Spain and Jazztel today announce their joint agreement to offer complete telecommunications services to their customers. As a result, businesses will be able to access their Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) from anywhere, thanks to the combination of access through Jazztel's fixed networks and Vodafone's mobile network.

This agreement will offer customers a service that guarantees connectivity in both mobile and fixed environments. In addition to mobile access to corporate information via GPRS, customers will now also have broadband access via 3G mobile technology.

Collaboration between Jazztel and Vodafone will allow business users to not only send and receive e-mails, but also have easy and efficient access to their corporate business applications and systems from wherever they are, whenever they want.

Under the agreement, Jazztel will offer fixed communications services (fixed data connections, fixed telephony, equipment and application hosting), which will be completed by Vodafone's extensive range of mobile communications services (GSM mobile telephony, mobile data communications via UMTS and GPRS).
