From today, Vodafone is providing its customers with the facility to make 3G Videocalls to customers of TMN, the operator owned by Portugal Telecom.
This 3G Videocall interconnection agreement makes Portugal one of the first countries in Europe where Videocalls can be made between national mobile networks.
During the promotion period, which runs until 31 December 2004, the cost of Videocall to Vodafone customers will be the same as a voice call to other national networks.
Vodafone was the first operator to provide 3G services in Portugal with the launch of its Mobile Connect Card in February and launched Vodafone live! 3G at the beginning of this month. |
