The Albanian regulator Akep has announced a new tender for two 3G licences. The regulator will release spectrum in the 1950-1965 MHz band paired with 2140-2155 MHz plus 5 MHz in the 1910-1915 MHz band, as well as in the 1965-1980 MHz band paired with 2155-2170 MHz plus 5 MHz in the 1915 – 1920 MHz range. The tender will open on 10 October.

“On granting 2 (two) rights of use of frequencies in the frequencies’ band 1950-1965 - paired with 2140-2155 MHz and 5 MHz unpaired spectrum and 1965-1980 MHz paired with 2155- 2170 MHz and 5 MHz unpaired spectrum 1915-1920 MHz that offer broadband services”
