ZTE has unveiled its ZTE Acqua V880E smartphone in Malaysia. The Android 4.0 device features a 1 GHz processor, 4-inch colour touchscreen display and 5-megapixel camera. The ZTE Acqua V880E is a continuation of the ZTE Skate series, which sold more than 5 million units. The HSPA handset is available at MYR699.00 (US$234) per unit from ZTE’s sole local mobile phone vendor, NineZTE.

Malaysian mobile consumers can now enjoy fluid experience with the new ZTE Acqua V880E, which boasts of versatility and a 1 GHz high speed processor. The touchscreen smartphone was launched today by ZTE Malaysia, the fourth world’s largest hand phone vendor in conjunction with the appointment of Nine ZTE Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ingenuity Solutions Berhad, as their sole local vendor for mobile devices.
