Gemalto will supply its LinqUs Advanced Connectivity platform for US Cellular’s recently launched LTE network. The solution enables the US operator to authenticate subscribers to LTE and CDMA networks and efficiently manage secure access to LTE services. The LinqUs Advanced OTA platform enables U.S. Cellular to instantly activate subscriptions and manage access to personalized services over IP-based LTE mobile networks. The UpTeq LTE is embedded with Gemalto’s unique secure polling software that enables automatic update. This helps ensure 100% success rate for the download and activation of mission critical applications including M2M subscriptions, large NFC payment applications and the credentials for streaming video content over LTE networks. Thanks to the Gemalto “Always Connected” technology, the UpTeq LTE triggers its own update in order to ensure a maximal success rate and a unique end-user experience.
