eAccess has added five new devices to its mobile broadband product line-up. New EMOBILE G4 releases
include the Pocket WiFi (GP02) and the GD01 data cards, both
supporting Dual Carrier HSPA+ technology. Two 3G smartphone models are
the Android-powered S42HW and the slim Pocket WiFi S II (S41HW), both
equipped with a one-touch tethering function that allows simultaneous
connection with up to five WiFi devices. The Japanese operator has also
unveiled its own-branded tablet, the Android 2.3 A01HW WiFi model,
with a seven-inch screen. All new devices will be available in July 2011.
eAccess Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative
Director, Chairman: Sachio Semmoto) introduces the summer device
lineup, including two EMOBILE G4 data cards, two smartphone models, and
one tablet device to be released from July 2011.
Releases for EMOBILE G4 include the Pocket WiFi (GP02), the fastest
model in the Pocket WiFi series, with 42 Mbps download speed1, and the
GD01 data card which is equipped with a USB rotator that allows for
both vertical and horizontal rotation without the need for a USB cable.
These devices are aimed at users who use high speed links with several
devices, such as smartphones and tablet computers, fulfilling the
needs of higher speed models.
The two smartphone models to be released are S42HW, the first ten-key
straight body model for an AndroidTM equipped smartphone in Japan2,
and the Pocket WiFi S II (S41HW), the smallest smartphone in Japan3,
with a larger LED screen. S41HW is an evolution of the popular EMOBILE
Pocket WiFi S (S31HW) with slimmer body and other improvements. Both
models come equipped with an one-touch tethering function which allows
for simultaneous connection with up to five WiFi devices.
The other release is the AndroidTM2.3 equipped A01HW WiFi model with a
seven-inch screen, which will be EMOBILE's first original brand
tablet.
