dtac has revamped its data roaming price plans in response to high growth in smartphone users. The Thai operator has extended the number of destinations of its data roaming THB299 (US$9.94) per day package to cover 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Australia. Developed in partnership with Vodafone and Telenor, dtac’s data roaming service covers almost 95% of the European Union countries, top 7 Asian destinations, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

dtac aggressively steps into growing data roaming market to back up growth in smartphone users, extending destinations of data roaming 299Bt/day package to cover 30 popular travelling countries in Europe, Asia and Australia. With belief in affordable packages and worldwide footprints, dtac will make the way forward into roaming arena this year. The increase to 30 countries is a follow up of recently launched packages which attracts attentions from many dtac roamers who enjoy 25Mb daily data usage for only 299Bt.

Australia (2) – Australia and New Zealand

Which the packages details are as follows:

* 299-Baht package for 25MB data roaming allowance within 1 day.
* 889-Baht package for 75MB data roaming allowance within 3 consecutive days.
* 1,999-Baht package for 175MB data roaming allowance within 7 consecutive days.
