ZTE Corporation, (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that its LTE Core EPC has broken two industry records. ZXUN uMAC, ZTE's Mobility Management Entity (MME) achieved the maximum capacity test of 15 million users, while ZXUN xGW, ZTE's SAE-GW, attained 174Gbps which exceeds the previous record by 50% to secure the top spot in the industry.

The xGW record was recorded by IXIA, a leading supplier of converged network and application performance testing solutions, during a recent LTE Core EPC heavy traffic performance demonstration performed with a top tier global operator.

 With the two records under its belt, ZTE believes that it is in a better position than before to provide a complete solution to global operators to transform the mobile internet. "The demonstration results is a great indicator of ZTE packet core network's excellent ability to provide large capacity and high throughput," said Mr. Xu Ziyang, Vice President of ZTE.
