Sharp to Introduce Two 3G Smartphones for the Chinese Market

Sharp has announced plans to introduce two full touchscreen 3G smartphones into the Chinese market starting from October 2010. Equipped with a large touchscreen LCD and user-friendly interface, the SH8128U and SH8118U are both based on GSM/WCDMA technology. Sharp plans to progressively launch more smartphones aimed at the Chinese market.

Sharp Corporation will introduce two full touchscreen 3G smartphones, the SH8128U and SH8118U, into the Chinese market starting from October of this year. Hereafter, Sharp plans to progressively launch smartphones for the Chinese market.

These smartphones come equipped with a large touchscreen LCD and user-friendly interface that is touch-oriented, easy-to-use, and intuitive. The models are designed for a comfortable fit in the hand and a high-grade visual appearance with simple flowing lines. Additionally, mobile Internet services and applications that are popular amongst the Chinese youth make it possible to enjoy social networking services, music, e-books, and more.
