Ireland’s Meteor has unveiled its mobile broadband offering, branded ‘Broadband to Go’. The post-paid package costs EUR16.99 per month for 5GB with the Huawei E180 HSPA USB modem free of charge on an 18-month contract. The E180 modem is available to pre-paid customers for EUR29 per month, with an option of either a Day Pass at EUR2.99 for 500MB or a 30-day pass at EUR19.99 for 7.5GB. Meteor's 3G network is now available in five major urban areas: Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, as well as 67 towns.

Today, Monday 22nd March 2010, Meteor officially launched its mobile broadband offering, Broadband to Go, in Ennis as part of the rollout of its new high speed data network, which is one of the most advanced networks available in Western Europe today.
Introducing the best value on the market, the slim design Huawei E180 HSPA USB Modem, the ideal solution for users who require high speed data on the move, is now available for just €29 euro.

Broadband to Go was launched withthe award winning Huawei E180, the world's slimmest mobile broadband device which is available on both Pay As You Go and Bill Pay. Pay As You Go customers have options to buy either a Day Pass at €2.99 for 500MB or a 30 day pass at €19.99 for 7.5GB. The E180 is available from just €29 for Pay As You Go Customers. Bill Pay costs €16.99 per month for 5GB with the E180 free on an 18 month contract, or priced at just €29 instore, with monthly offers ranging from  €16.99 - €24.99 a month.

Broadband to Go is available in all 39 Meteor stores and will be distributed through channel partners such as PC World, Currys, Carphone Warehouse, Harvey Norman and Powercity.‘Broadband to Go' will only be sold within the high speed coverage areas.
