TI Demonstrations at 3GSM World Congress Will Show High-Quality Video on OMAP1510 Processor-Enabled FOMA Handsets
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) announced today that all three new FOMA(R) (Freedom of Multimedia Access) third generation (3G) handset models from NTT DoCoMo Inc. will feature TIs high-performance, power-efficient OMAP(TM) application processors. These models feature a camera capable of taking high-quality still photos and video. The handsets also support iMotion(TM) Mail, which enables users to send a video they have recorded as an email attachment. The high processing performance and low power consumption of TIs OMAP1510 processor help enable these rich, real-time multimedia-rich features as well as long battery life.
The new handsets featuring the OMAP1510 processor are as follows:
- N2051 (NEC)
- F2051 (Fujitsu)
- P2102V (Panasonic Mobile Communications)
