 Peter Zidar is Head of the Standardization Office at Mobitel (the leading mobile operator in Slovenia). With 14 years’ experience in Telecommunications and Information Technology within Mobitel, he is the main contact person for international organizations such as ETSI (and 3GPP), OMA, the UMTS Forum and ETNO FM Group.
Additionally, his duties include membership in the Slovenian ICT Technology Network and Slovenian eMobility platform.
Working on different assignments in Mobitel for several years, he was head of the Projects Department overseeing a group of project managers involved in major projects, and in projects regarding the introduction of different services such as Mobile Positioning, Mobile VPN, Web portal and Ringback service. He received his Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University in Ljubljana in 1998.
