Sierra Wireless and Bouygues Telecom today announced the commercial launch of the AirCard® 880E ExpressCard in France. The AirCard 880E is now available through Bouygues Telecom’s business sales channels, and offers connectivity to the operator's newly announced high-speed 3G+ network.

"Our business customers are big users of mobile data," said Richard Viel, Senior Vice President, Bouygues Telecom. "We are the first operator to market HSUPA technology, which offers uplink data speeds up to four times faster than HSDPA. With the new Sierra Wireless data card, mobile professionals can take advantage of the flexibility of mobile data to work more productively."

"The improved network performance and data speeds offered by Bouygues Telecom’s network upgrade offer many benefits to mobile data customers, who can access the information they need from anywhere nearly as quickly as they could from the office. We are pleased to collaborate again with Bouygues Telecom," said Jim Lahey, vice president, EMEA for Sierra Wireless.
