With the approval of the Telecommunications Agency, Promonte on Friday 22 June 2007 launched commercial 3G services for both prepaid and for postpaid customers in Montenegro.
 
"Celebrating the launch on Friday two players from Montenegro's national handball team for men promoted the very first video calls. People downtown Podgorica were given the opportunity to make video calls with the two popular players," said Corporate Communications Manager in Promonte, Elenora Albijanic.
 
3G coverage
At the moment, 3G signal covers the territories of the following municipalities:
Podgorica, Niksic, Cetinje, Ulcinj, Bar, Budva, Herceg Novi, Kotor and Tivat.
 
Telenor has a 100 per cent ownership stake in Promonte.
