Halina Uryga, ITU Advisor, Permanent Member PDF Print E-mail

Halina Uryga is Deputy Director of Spectrum for Orange (France Telecom Group).

She is actively involved in the work of a number of international organisations for developing UMTS/IMT-2000 and systems beyond, such as ITU, CEPT, ETNO, ETSI. She participates also as associate member in the work of CITEL PCC II.

In particular, Ms. Uryga contributes actively to the UMTS Forum work on spectrum issues. She was in charge of the ad-hoc group which prepared UMTS Forum Report 07 on additional spectrum for IMT-2000. She also chaired the Project Teams co-ordinating the UMTS Forum activities linked with the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-00 and WRC-03) and their preparation.

Ms. Uryga graduated from the Jagellonian University (Cracow, Poland) and the Paris II and Paris III Universities (France) and joined France Telecom in 1989.
