In an Australian exclusive, 3 mobile in association with the Seven Network and Yahoo!7 is bringing mobile video content from the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics to 3 mobile customers. Until 27th February, fans will be able to catch the latest sporting highlights from the Winter Olympics each morning (1) on their mobile.

The Torino 2006 Winter Olympics content on 3 mobile is the first of many compelling mobile content initiatives to be delivered as part of the new Yahoo!7 partnership.

Between 10-15 new streaming video clips (2) per day will be available to watch covering all the major action across sports from skiing and hockey, to luge and curling. Each clip will be 1-3 minutes in duration and will be no extra charge for 3 mobile's Sport Pack subscribers. Non-Sports Pack subscribers will have to pay just 50 cents per clip. Like all content on 3, there's no additional data charge.

Following on from 3 mobile's hugely popular content of the 3 Test Series cricket, which featured live streaming of the entire series, scores and highlights, the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics is yet another winner for sports fans and demonstrates 3 mobile's commitment to providing exciting sporting content on the go.

The Sports Pack is available for only $3 per month and features action, scores and news from a wide range of sports including AFL, NR L, Rugby, Cricket, Soccer, Golf Tennis, Motorsport, Tennis and Basketball.

1 New content available daily at 6am ESDT
2 Streaming clips will only work on packet switched compatible handsets, which comprise the majority of 3's handset range. NEC 606, NEC 808, Motorola 835 and Nokia 7600 will not be able to receive the Torino Winter Olympics channel.
