Ericsson sole supplier of Pannon's WCDMA/HSPA network in Hungary
Ericsson is strengthening its leadership in WCDMA/HSPA networks with a new contract in Hungary. Telenor-affiliated operator Pannon has signed an agreement for the expansion of its mobile network, including deployment, integration and support services.

Nokia and STMicroelectronics plan deeper ties in 3G technology development
Nokia and STMicroelectronics today announced their intention to deepen their collaboration on the licensing and supply of integrated circuit designs and modem technologies for 3G and its evolution. The two companies also are negotiating a plan relating to transferring a part of Nokia's Integrated Circuit (IC) operations to STMicroelectronics.

The new Nokia Prism collection: progressive design cut with personalized style
Nokia today unveiled the Prism collection, its latest range of mobile phones aimed at style-conscious consumers. The Prism collection consists of the Nokia 7900 Prism and the Nokia 7500 Prism, handsets which combine individual style and state-of-the-art technology. The two mobile models will be available in the third quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of EUR 400 for the Nokia 7900 Prism and EUR 210 for the Nokia 7500 Prism, before taxes and subsidies.
Alcatel-Lucent deploys HSUPA solution for mobilkom austria in Austria
Alcatel-Lucent today announced that mobilkom austria has deployed Alcatel-Lucent’s HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access) solution in all Alcatel-Lucent NodeB's of its Austrian network. This enables mobilkom austria to offer its customers mobile broadband service with an uplink of up to 1.4 Mbps, which is five to ten times faster than previously available and helps solidify Alcatel-Lucent’s position as a major supplier of advanced mobile broadband technology.
Google goes live on 3 UK
Mobile media company 3 UK is to offer Google Search and Google Maps on the Planet 3 mobile portal from today. Under the agreement with Google, Google™ search will be integrated into the Planet 3 Internet offering.
Ericsson expands WCDMA/HSPA network for Indosat in Indonesia
PT Indosat Tbk. (Indosat) has awarded Ericsson a contract extension to expand its WCDMA/HSPA network coverage in greater Jakarta, Indonesia. Indosat consumers in the area will receive wider coverage and faster mobile broadband speeds.
