| Bell Doubling Data Speeds on World-Leading HSPA+ Wireless Network Canada’s Bell has upgraded its HSPA+ network with Dual Carrier technology, boosting peak download speeds to a maximum of 42 Mbps. Initially, the service will be available in Toronto, with the launch of the Novatel Wireless U547 Turbo Stick. The service will be available as a CA$19 add-on feature on all Mobile Internet pricing plans. Bell will continue to enhance its HSPA+ network with Dual Carrier technology to cover more Canadian cities and towns through 2011. |

| ZTE Showcases World's First VoLTE Call Based on IMS with Existing Mobile Networks at Mobile Asia Congress 2010 ZTE has demonstrated IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem)-based Voice over LTE (VoLTE) calls on CSL's LTE network and its existing 2G/3G mobile networks. The calls finished between IMS clients as well as IMS client and conventional 2G/3G handsets. The VoLTE calls were made based on the inter-operability of LTE network and existing 2G/3G networks. In addition, supplementary services such as call forwarding and call waiting were demonstrated. |

| Cellular South Announces Strategic Alliance with Samsung Telecommunications to Build LTE 4G High-speed Wireless Broadband Data Network Infrastructure US operator Cellular South has announced a strategic alliance with Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) to build an LTE network. In addition to network equipment in the 700 MHz band, Samsung will supply Cellular South with LTE Band Class 12 smartphones. Cellular South expects to launch its LTE network in the fourth quarter of 2011, using voice-over LTE (VoLTE), and continue to expand LTE coverage across its 700 MHz footprint in 2012. The alliance will enable both companies to pursue the integration of rich multimedia services and “three screen differentiation” across smartphones, laptops/netbooks and televisions. |

| America Movil Selects Alcatel-Lucent IP/MPLS Mobile Backhaul Solution to Deploy Next-generation Mobile Services in Latin America America Movil has selected Alcatel-Lucent’s IP/MPLS-based mobile backhaul solution to support the upgrade of its 3G mobile broadband networks in 11 Latin American countries. The upgrade is aimed at the evolution of the networks into more cost-effective mobile infrastructure that enables the delivery of new multimedia services and applications. The move will prepare America Movil for the robust data growth anticipated over the next few years. |

| NEC Brings 3G Femtocells to India NEC has launched its 3G Femtocell solution in India. The low-cost 3G in-building coverage technology will allow Indian mobile operators to offer 3G mobile services to residential and enterprise markets within a few months. Currently, NEC is in the process of trialling its 3G Femtocell solution with an unnamed mobile operator in India. |

| Telefónica and Nokia to Launch the First Totally “Green” Mobile Phone Offer Telefónica and Nokia have unveiled the first sustainable offer involving an operator and phone manufacturer. Nokia has created an exclusive “green” version of its two most innovative handsets, the Nokia N8 and Nokia C7, which were adapted exclusively for Spain’s Móvistar. The HSDPA 10.2 Mbps smartphones are available from EUR69 or free of charge, when combined with a call plan and the Internet Móvil Plus tariff. The phones feature ecological applications, reducing packaging, a high-efficiency phone charger and a final recycling offer. |

| A New Technology Shift: Today Tele2 and Telenor Launch LTE in Sweden Tele2 and Telenor have jointly launched its LTE network in the four Swedish cities of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Karlskrona. The network was deployed by the operators’ joint venture, Net4Mobility. LTE roll-out will continue rapidly, with a coverage target of 99% of the population by the end of 2012. The partners have positioned LTE as a viable alternative to fixed ADSL internet access, following a pilot where twenty people have been using LTE as their primary connection. |

| Three, Everything Everywhere Joint Venture Reaches 12,000 Shared 3G Sites Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has supplied more than 12,000 3G base stations to Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL) as part of the network consolidation between Three and Everything Everywhere (Orange and T-Mobile) in the UK. Following three years of intensive effort by MBNL and NSN, all 3G sites, transmitters, base station equipment and backhaul connected to the core networks are now fully configured for high-speed mobile broadband access. |
