| Unlimited 3G Service, on Top of Unlimited Wi-Fi Service, KT Offers Double Benefits for Unlimited Data Service South Korea’s KT has launched a new 3G service, enabling customers to use unlimited wireless data over the operator’s 3W network (WDCMA/HSPA, WiBro, Wi-Fi). The company has decided to introduce the unlimited 3G data service following strong growth in users of smartphones and tablet devices. The new service is provided automatically to subscribers on monthly plans exceeding KRW55,000 (US$47). |

| Croatian Telecom and Huawei Announce Cooperation on the Occasion of Bringing the State-of-the-art LTE Technology to Croatia Hrvatski Telekom (HT), part of Deutsche Telekom, has announced plans to bring LTE technology to Croatia in cooperation with Huawei. Initially, HT will roll out its LTE network in the region of Rijeka. In addition, Huawei has equipped a mobile demo centre in Croatia's capital Zagreb where it showcased advanced technological capabilities for the provision of E2E mobile broadband. The introduction of LTE in Croatia will improve the experience of HT’s customers of using mobile data services. |

| The Transition to 4G: 3G Americas Publishes Research Report on 3GPP Mobile Broadband Evolution A new white paper from 3G Americas assesses the evolution of EDGE, HSPA enhancements and 3GPP LTE, discussing the capabilities of these technologies and their position relative to other primary competing technologies. Authored by Rysavy Research and titled ‘The Transition to 4G’, the report also highlights how these technologies fit into the ITU roadmap that leads to IMT-Advanced. | Telenor's Next Generation Communication Norway’s Telenor has selected Ericsson to transform its fixed and mobile networks to a common all-IP (IMS) core and service platform, providing cost efficiency and preparing for LTE. Under the contract, Ericsson will consolidate all mobile and fixed subscriber data into a centralized user database based on a Data Layered Architecture (DLA). This will allow Telenor to integrate its fixed and mobile service offering, thanks to Ericsson’s Multimedia Telephony (MMTel) and IMS-based solutions |

| Sharp to Introduce Two 3G Smartphones for the Chinese Market Sharp has announced plans to introduce two full touchscreen 3G smartphones into the Chinese market starting from October 2010. Equipped with a large touchscreen LCD and user-friendly interface, the SH8128U and SH8118U are both based on GSM/WCDMA technology. Sharp plans to progressively launch more smartphones aimed at the Chinese market. |

| Orange and Nokia to Extend Ovi across the United Kingdom and France Orange and Nokia have announced a new integrated Ovi service. Orange will integrate Ovi content with the best of its applications from the Orange Application Shop to give customers simpler, more secure access to a wider range of content and services, creating a seamless user experience. Nokia's Ovi Store with Orange will be accessible to Orange customers in the UK and France in 2011. |

| Nokia Announces Powerful Family of Smartphones and Ovi Services at Nokia World Showcase; Vision of Location-based Future Brought to Life Nokia has announced three new Symbian-based smartphones at this week’s Nokia World event. The three new smartphones, the Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6, are powered by the latest version of the Symbian operating system platform, bringing more than 250 new features and improvements, while retaining the familiarity of the previous platform. The E7 is a new flagship device aimed at high-end business users. The C6 and C7 are targeted the consumer segment. The handsets will begin shipping before the end of 2010. |

Pre-certified with the world's largest HSPA networks, the advanced module reduces power consumption, thus increasing device battery life and usability. Based on ST-Ericsson's leading M34x HSPA 7.2 Mbps thin modem platform, the F3307 allows manufacturers to equip tablets and other CE devices with integrated mobile broadband wireless connectivity. |

| HTC Unveils HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z with NEW HTC sense and HTCSENSE.COM HTC has launched two new Android-based smartphones, the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z. The HSPA-enabled devices are based on the HTC Sense user interface platform, which integrates a variety of multimedia and location-based enhancements and introduces HTCSense.com, a series of new connected HTC services. The new HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z will be available in major European and Asian markets from October 2010, with the HTC Desire Z also shipping in North America later this year. |

| Cell C Launches Africa’s First HSPA+ 900 Network in Bloemfontein Cell C has launched its 900MHz HSPA+ network in Bloemfontein. The new service enables peak downlink data speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps, with city averages between 4-6 Mbps, and in many locations in excess of 10 Mbps. To date, Cell C has deployed 1600 HSPA+ 900 sites, with large scale user tests run in nine major cities. The operator is on track to roll-out HSPA+ in South Africa’s major cities by the end of 2010, covering approximately 34% of the South African population. |
