USI selects Option embedded wireless module for razor-thin Mobile Internet Device
Option N.V. the wireless technology company, announced that its GTM501 embedded module is providing 3G HSPA connectivity to a new ultra-compact Mobile Internet Device (MID) from USI (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 2350.tw).
Bell Canada selects Huawei Technologies to provide infrastructure development for national wireless network enhancement
Huawei Technologies announced that it has been selected by Bell Canada to provide network infrastructure for its national overlay of HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) technology to its national EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) wireless network.
The French Government announced its decision to share ‘digital-dividend’ spectrum between both electronic communications and audiovisual services, following the recommendation of the Digital Dividend Parliamentary Commission published in July 2008.
