The UC864-G is a 3.5G wireless data module designed to be fully compatible with Telit's GSM/GPRS and CDMA products in the compact, unified form factor family.
Ericsson has formed a strategic partnership with leading Icelandic operator Siminn through a contract to expand its WCDMA/HSPA network into the 900MHz band. This will enable Siminn to deliver enhanced mobile data services to remote areas across Iceland.
Pannon announced that its high-speed 3G/HSDPA network enabling video telephony is now available at nearly 360 towns and villages across Hungary.
A year after introducing the UMTS technology in its network and after covering coastal municipalities Podgorica, Nikšic and Cetinje, the Promonte Company has introduced the 3G signal in territories of the six municipalities on the North of Montenegro i.e. in Berane, Bijelo Polje, Rozaje, Plav, Pljevlja and Zabljak municipalities.
