Ericsson expands Síminn's WCDMA network into 900MHz band
Ericsson has formed a strategic partnership with leading Icelandic operator Siminn through a contract to expand its WCDMA/HSPA network into the 900MHz band. This will enable Siminn to deliver enhanced mobile data services to remote areas across Iceland.

Promonte 3G signals on the north of Montenegro
A year after introducing the UMTS technology in its network and after covering coastal municipalities Podgorica, Nikšic and Cetinje, the Promonte Company has introduced the 3G signal in territories of the six municipalities on the North of Montenegro i.e. in Berane, Bijelo Polje, Rozaje, Plav, Pljevlja and Zabljak municipalities.
