EB, TerreStar Networks Showcase First-ever Dual-mode Satellite-Terrestrial HSPA Handset Reference Design
Nokia Siemens Networks announced that it has signed a contract with PT Hutchison CP Telecommunications (‘HCPT’ or ‘Hutchison Telecom Indonesia’) to strengthen HCPT’s GSM/WCDMA network coverage in the islands of Java and Sumatra, and roll out GSM core networks in Kalimantan and Sulawesi.

Vodafone launches new data flatrates for mobile internet with unrestricted data volume
Mobile data usage is even more attractive now that Vodafone has introduced the new Mobile Connect Flat, a flatrate tariff providing unlimited data volume for EUR 34.95 a month. For an additional EUR 15 a month, Vodafone customers can book the Mobile Connect Flat Plus option, which gives them a data flatrate plus two free Vodafone WebSessions International every month.
AT&T and Motorola Launch Exclusive MOTO Z9 Slider Phone
Go from turning heads to turn-by-turn directions. AT&T Inc. and Motorola, Inc. announced at CTIA Wireless 2008 that the MOTOTM Z9 slider handset, which is exclusive to AT&T in the U.S., will put customers on the right path in style. MOTO Z9 will be the first phone to include AT&T Navigator, bringing the company's Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation service to an even greater number of AT&T customers.
Novatel Wireless Launches Ovation MC990D & MC992D USB Modems with File Storage for Worldwide HSPA Networks
Novatel Wireless, Inc., a leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, announced the Ovation(TM) MC990D and MC992D HSPA modems. 3 UK Launch Ad Supported 3G Mobile Music Video Service
Mobile operator 3 UK announced the launch of the first ad supported, commercial mobile music video service in conjunction with Sony BMG Music Entertainment(UK).  The service, powered by Rhythm NewMedia, is available to all 3 UK customers and is accessed through 3’s music homepage.
Nokia Siemens Networks Ready for LTE in North America
Nokia Siemens Networks' LTE solution for radio and core networks will enable operators to deploy WCDMA/HSPA and LTE in all major frequency bands, including the 700 MHz and 1.7/2.1 GHz bands that are of particular importance in North America.
