AT&T Launches 3G Wireless Broadband Network throughout Washington
AT&T Inc. has announced a significant enhancement in how, when and where people access the Internet, use e-mail or view a variety of entertainment services by offering the 3G wireless broadband service in five Washington markets: Bellingham, Marysville, Mount Vernon, Olympia and Spokane.
Vodafone and HP present the new, advanced notebook model HP Compaq 2710p which integrates wireless Internet access technology via Vodafone Mobile broadband, exclusively available at PLAISIO stores.
Mobitel’s Planet multimedia portal is already frequented by over 200 thousand regular users, and the total number of visitors has surpassed a million.
Alcatel-Lucent today announced that, following the DVB-SH pilot jointly performed by SFR and Alcatel-Lucent from July to December 2007, both companies validated the fundamental assumptions for the deployment of a DVB-SH network co-localized, for its terrestrial part, with an existing commercial 3G+ network.
Orange has applied for two television channels in response to a call for applications made by the French Audiovisual Council on 6 November 2007 for the allocation of DVB-H mode frequencies to be used for broadcasting Personal Mobile Television services.
