UMTS Forum Report 38, January 2005

This Report gives the results of the work that has been done in the UMTS Forum on the interest to find additional harmonised spectrum for UMTS in order to provide better geographical or services coverage for UMTS/IMT-2000 in large areas of low population density, but also providing the opportunity for new and improved services, perhaps such services specifically requested by subscribers in sparsely populated areas and in less developed regions.
